Nowadays, it shouldn’t take long to find out where one can go to watch a live pay per view showing, particularly at a bar or restaurant. MMAviewers.com’s homebase is Chicago, USA, so within this post, there will be a list of some of the more popular places to view UFC and other MMA (and Boxing) ppv main events. Personally, I still have difficulty locating a bar or two in the Chicagoland area that host ppv fighting for big Professional Boxing matches. This along shows how far and how popular MMA is currently!

The UFC is the elite organization for promoting MMA fights. So, any of the locations listed below surely shows UFC ppv events. You’d have to call that location to inquire about whether they show ppv events from other promotional MMA organizations such as Strikeforce, M-1, and well-known Asian-born organizations such as Dream and Sengoku.

Some bars have taken on the moniker of being “The Home Of UFC events.” Usually at these bars is where they will show popular ppv events other than the UFC. In Chicago, places like Trader Todd’s and Four Shadow and Clarke’s Bar & Grill would fit this category.

However, always be sure to call up these establishments before attending an events. The list here is always subject to change. And any given location can opt to make a ppv 2nd tier to some other event that may be happening at that location on that night. In addition, some locations charge a cover fee. As MMA has become rapidly popular, the days of viewing ppv events for free are becoming scarce. Usually, the cover ranges from $5-$10, still cheaper than ordering it via your local cable t.v. provider. If I were you, $5-$10 is nothing considering all things encompassing the event.

Some locations have better food and drink specials that may help you determine where to view a fight. Some may have a better atmosphere. Some may have casual fans that’s a bit reserved. Others may have your cheering fans that like to get pleasantly loud. Some locations take reservations(sometimes for a fee). And this fee may sometimes only be the cost/person for the cover which is awesome. Again, call up a location for specific details! Locations tend to fill up, depending on the size of the place, so get there early. Most ppv mma and boxing events start at 8pm or 9pm.
