Why Rampage Hates Evans…Their Fight Has Been “Cancelled!”

Oh how disappointing.  Yup, the fight between Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans that was tentatively scheduled for November or December has been cancelled…confirmed by both fighters within the past few days.  Why?

Well, Rampage was recently rewarded the acting job to play B.A. Baracus on the upcoming A-Team movie.  It’s a great thing for Rampage, but us selfish MMA viewers aren’t happy about the fight not happening, for now at least.  Financially, this is great for Rampage.  So, how can we blame him too much?  Well, for one, he’s not getting any younger, although he’s 9-1 in his last 10 fights.  The 31 year old, nonetheless, still has much fight left.

And where did this dislike between Evans and Rampage come to light?

As some of you may recall, Rampage beat Keith Jardin in his last fight who also trains at the same dojo as Rashad Evans.  They are reportedly close buddies.  So now, Evans wants to avenge his friends lost……and this is how it all went down:

So let me get this straight. Rampage won’t fight Rashad, but he will fight Super Dave Osborne? What more proof do you need that Rampage is afraid of Rashad?

Rampage has stated this past week that he’s returning to the UFC soon. This statement has been confirmed by Dana White. It’ll be interesting to see what happens if Evans beat Thiago Silva on January 2nd.
