MMA Day – Saturday May 22
Although it sounds like some sort of national celebration, MMA Day is actually a grassroots movement in Ontario to encourage the provincial government to legalize MMA.
A rally will be held at 1PM at Queen’s Park in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday May 22. Organizers want MMA fans and supporters to come out and show the government and MMA critics alike that the sport is civilized and legitimate, that there are thousands who want to attend a major MMA event in Ontario, and that it is not dangerous to get so many fight fans in one place at one time.
If you are in the Toronto area — if you live in Ontario or even northern New York state — make sure you attend this event. You elected this government, now make them work for you!
