Many casual and frequent flier mma fans tend to never watch the pre-fight weigh-in session. It’s sometimes frivolous and long. And many people, particularly the casual mma fan, have no idea that the UFC makes a show of the fighters’ weigh-in, which is usually a day before the fight. The show is generally a good hype machine for promoting more viewers to the main show, as well as perhaps garnering more drama for a particular fight.
I wanted to post the weigh-in video for UFC 113 because it was cleanly and effectively edited down to roughly six minutes by mmafighting.com.
