Mousasi is growing on me, as well as many other mma fans. Mousasi further diversifies the sport and brings in many other viewers from around the world. I'm not one of those advocates who thinks mma has to constantly legitimize this sport. The sport is---what it is. It has its own merit; ya either like it or ya don't. Mousasis recently backed out of a fight against "The African Assassin" Sokoudjou because of a injury, supposedly sustained in a televised sparring exhibition with Fedor Emelianenko.

Well, I suppose this is a real injury. Or perhaps, Mousasi is in talks with Strikeforce to fight a bigger named opponent. I doubt if he's in talks with Dana White about entering the UFC, considering the distance in opinions with White and the people Mousasi (and Fedor E.) are under contract with, M-1 Global. Time will tell...

Dana White was recently asked, on a scale of 1 to 5, how much would he like to have Gegard Mousasi in the UFC. His response, without hesitation, and with much enthusiasm, "Seven!"
Maybe he sees more in him than you do....

I would love to see Brian Bowles fight Dominick Cruz next. Cruz was impressive in his recent victory over Benevidez. Cruz also gave Urijah Faber a run for his money, Cruz's only defeat.
