The Ultimate Fighter 11 – so far…
By Jane W.

The boss says my articles – both published and yet-to-be-published – are too negative. He thinks I should be more positive. So here goes….
Charley Lynch
That is positively the best broken nose I have ever seen perpetrated on another human being! And the fighter in question kept fighting, despite the fact that his face was caved in. Unfortunately he lost to a guy who wussed out of his next fight like a little bitch.
Oops. Lemme try again.
The Ultimate Fighter 11 is shaping up to be an interesting season, from the first round of fights to get into the house to Chuck Liddell’s implicit accusations of a soft Tito Ortiz and the rumours that Ortiz will not even finish the show. It’s already far more exciting than last season’s fatty-fest of lard-asses who got exhausted after three minutes of carting their excessive bulk around the cage.
I did it again, didn’t I? Okay, one more try.
Nick Ring, your next Canadian Champion
Nick Ring is expected to be one of the top contenders for the contract this season. He’s Canadian and proud of it! He’s also man enough to play around with overtly homosexual stereotypes. From standing in a towel with a hand on his hip, accusing the other guys of checking him out, to his “Oh no you din’t” pose, he is proving to be a quietly entertaining part of the show. Some have even speculated that he might actually be gay and that acting out with the gay stereotypes is his way of hiding the fact. I, for one, don’t care if he is or if he isn’t. All I want to know is, can he fight? We didn’t get to see much of his skills in the last episode, despite pulling out a controversial decision win. Hopefully we’ll see him shine in the future. And although I’ve been cheering on Chuck’s team so far (because it makes me laugh to watch Tito on the verge of tears), I will be rooting for Nick Ring to take the whole thing.
That was positive, right? Not bad. I think I may have pulled it off….
