Gina Carano vs. Cris “Cyborg” Santos

This is easily the biggest female mma bout ever!  Gina Carano and Cris Cyborg are the top 2 very best mma female fighters in the world.  It’s the first time in any fighting sport that a ladies bout is the featured bout.  And this is on top of the fact that one of the men’s fights is for a title.  It sucks that Nick Diaz was a late scratch apparently because of a mix up of whether or not recreational drug testing would be allowed.  The rule were apparently changed without notice to the Diaz camp.  The previous agreement was believed to be no…the fighters wouldn’t be tested for things such as marijuana or heroin or cocaine.  Apparently, the green stuff is what also may have propelled Diaz against showing up for the necessaries’ of the pre-fight agenda, thus presumably forfeiting his right to fight.  I guess people will have even more of a reason to not like ole Nick “Bad Boy” Diaz.

The Brazilian born Cris Cyborg is probably     the lesser known and surely less popular of the 2 fighters!  Gina C has already grown sort of a celebrity following, because she’s recognized by all as the best American female mma’er!  But Cyborg will be a formidable opponent.  Many are predicting her to win.  It’s still too early for me to call this one.  I’ll have to think more on it.  Cyborg is definitely the bigger of the two.  She’s powerful and quick and perhaps more aggressive than Carano who’s also known for her aggression and ‘take 1 just to get 2′ licks in mentally at times.
